What support could look like for you….
If you’re here, chances are life feels a little uncertain right now. Separation, parenting worries, financial stress, or simply not knowing what happens next can feel incredibly overwhelming.
My role is to help you make sense of it all — calmly, clearly, and without adding more stress than you’re already carrying.
Hello, I am Kara Batchelor
A little about me: I’m a collaborative family lawyer, now based in London and working closely with our team in Brisbane. I’ve grown within the firm over several years, which has shaped how I approach my work- calm, organised, and focused on what really matters. Living in London allows me to offer a more flexible, wrap-around service for clients in Australia, including after-hours support when it’s needed most. Outside of work, I enjoy slower moments- good coffee, time near the water, and staying connected to the people and places that matter most to me.
Let’s break it down
Just starting to think about separation?
You do not need to have everything figured out yet. Sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation.
Already navigating separation?
When emotions are high and decisions feel constant, it helps to have someone beside you bringing clarity and perspective.
Ready to move forward?
If you are feeling ready to resolve things and start the next chapter, I can help you take those next steps with clarity and confidence.
How I can support you
Family law can feel heavy, especially when emotions, children, finances and uncertainty are all tied together. But you don’t have to navigate it on your own.
Whether you’re ready to take the next step or simply want to better understand your options, I am here to help you move forward with support, clarity and compassion.
Let’s talk about your next step
Sometimes a single conversation can provide clarity, reassurance and direction that makes the path ahead feel far more manageable.
If you’re feeling unsure about your next step, that’s okay. You do not need to have all the answers before we speak.
Sometimes it helps just to talk things through.
