Hi, I’m Justine, Practice Manager at Brisbane Family Law Centre.
I’ve always found joy in helping people feel supported. Whether that’s supporting my own family, our team at Brisbane Family Law Centre or the clients we have the privilege of helping, knowing I’ve helped someone feel supported, is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
My role at BFLC is wonderfully varied, supporting our team behind the scenes so they can focus on supporting the families who walk through our doors. I love being part of creating an environment where people feel supported, problems are solved and everyone can focus on what matters most.
I’ve always believed that family comes first, which is one of the reasons I love working in family law. Every day, I have the privilege of supporting a team that helps people through some of life’s biggest transitions, and knowing the work I do behind the scenes contributes to that support is something I’m incredibly proud of.
I’ve worked in the legal profession for more than twenty years across both the UK and Australia, with qualifications in business, marketing, human resources and practice management. Along the way, I’ve worked across many different areas of law, but family law has always felt like the right fit because it combines meaningful work with the opportunity to make a real difference.
I’m also passionate about the legal profession beyond our own firm. I’m a member of the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) and serve on the Queensland Law Society’s Practice Management Committee, where I enjoy contributing to the future of legal practice management.
Outside the office, I’m a proud mum to three teenagers and a Siamese cat named Lancelot. When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me at F45, watching a good movie, heading to a concert or cheering on England whenever football is on.
