Hi, my name is Fiona or Fi and I am the face that you will see when you first walk through the door here at Brisbane Family Law Centre (BFLC). I have only just recently joined the team and loving my new role.
I first met Clarissa and the team when I needed their help, something that after 36 years of marriage I did not think that I would ever need, separating from that person in your life who is not only your husband, but also your best friend was a great shock.
I did have discussions with other Family Lawyers but knew straight away that I wanted BFLC to act on my behalf. I just felt comfortable, that I was being listened to and in very confident hands. I have been taken care of exceptionally well by the team and now look where I am, part of the TEAM myself. I am not a lawyer, but I have experience on the other side, and understand how upsetting, emotional and frustrating the separation/divorce process can be.
About me, I emigrated to Australia 21 years ago, I have 3 sons, all married, and I have 3 beautiful grandchildren with number 4 due later this year. My family are my world and I love spending time with them. For the previous 14 years I had been working as a Relocations Case Manager, so working for a law firm is all new, very interesting, lots to learn and I am excited about my future.
Q&A:
BFLC is all about – being compassionate, caring, and helping people from what can be a difficult time.
If I wasn’t working here – I would love to be travelling the world.
People describe me as: kind, caring and always there to listen and help.
I would love to have dinner with Jamie from Outlander.
The worst misspelling of my name was Pheona.
